Commuting sucks ass. Woke up late, what happened to my alarm?!? huh blackberry? huh? Man, I miss those days when I didn’t need to wake up with an alarm. 3 years of natural sleeping bliss, 3 years of no naps. Now I take about 3 naps a day. 1. morning bus ride 2. lunch time 3. evening bus ride. Ridiculous, sleeping monster. I probably have parasites galore, chronic fatigue syndrome, Münchausen syndrome or something horrible. Or maybe it’s just because I wake up with an alarm clock.

So I missed breakfast this morning, not cool. But lucky for me, the bus comes 15 minutes later on the weekends! Hoorah! I got on the bus, super chilly but mostly empty, thought to myself awesomeeeee empty bus, I can sleep! A few stops later, this family comes onto the bus like 10 people, they go sit in the middle back of the bus. BLah blh ablah they talked the entire freaking bus ride. Worse than people using their cell phones. Freak its 6AM, it’s too early to be chitchatting. So basically I just closed my eyes the entire bus ride and thought about random junk. I should get one of these composition books. Supposedly back to school sales you can get 3 for a dollar? O.o Hot deal!

The 6 train was slow as hell this morning, waited about 10 minutes! Come on! Ton of people on the train too. There’s a Japanese festival today in Central Park. Lot of runners wearing their numbers for the Japan Run. I noticed everyone wearing conventional sneakers. Nikes, New Balances, Puma. I guess theyre probably not that hardcore. Didn’t see any birthday shoes or #vff or evos. I need to start runnnig, I just want monster calves. I wore my KSOs all day yesterday. Ooops. Did a bunch of jump roping and walked a ton. I probably bruised my pinky toe on my right foot. My left foot seems fine. Maybe one pinky is larger than the other. I don’t know. I hope my foot feels better tomorrow than I can wear the KSO’s again. I ordered a pair of imitation Yoga Toes. Ill wear them at night. Hopefully theyre help fix my scrunched toes. Need to fix them. Going to do it.

OMG beautiful black girl talks to me on the subway!

I got my #VFF yesterday! As people have mentioned before, vibrams can be used to pick up chicks! I wore them to Trader Joe’s last night, 15 minutes before they closed. No one said anything to me and I didn’t notice anyone staring at my feet.

There aren’t too many people commuting on a Saturday morning. I got onto the uptown 6 train. There was a pretty fat guy sleeping taking up 2-3 seats and no one around him. So I was standing next to him and wondering if he was homeless or just really tired and really chubby. At the next stop this beautiful black girl gets on. She was wearing this nice teal colored summer dress/outfit with a pretty purse with books/binders in it. Im guessing she was a college student. She had nice long hair in tight braids. So she starts staring at my feet, i look away, then back to her then away then back to her, then she looks at me, and asks me if theyre comfortable. I tell her theyre great even, but I didn’t tell her that my pinky toes felt a little awkward because they’ve been deformed by conventional tiny toe boxes. I tell her that i just got them and she asks a few more questions. She says shes read about them but never seen anyone actually with them. And that she was thinking about getting a pair. She looked pretty fit. She said that she was getting some joint pains from running and i told her about the supposed benefits of barefoot running. So we had a nice conversation for a few subway stops. I really should read that book on pick up artists. Pick up artist book + vibrams = ???? => profit!!!

Oh yeah, people used to talk to me about my folding bike too. I should ride that and wear #VFF, gah…
